A brand launch with a cast of thousands


In April 2014, First Gulf Bank changed their identity to ‘FGB’ to mark their continued growth and focus on international expansion. All FGB employees were invited to a gala dinner to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the bank and be part of the launch of the new brand identity.


IVORY worked within the Corporate Affairs team as communications consultants for several months prior to the launch of the new FGB. Our role included overseeing and delivering internal communications and campaigns regarding the re-brand and the dinner.


For the gala dinner itself, we recommended Yas Marina F-1 Race Circuit in Abu Dhabi: a memorable venue that would symbolise the beginning of a new journey. We were responsible for project-managing the event and associated messaging; working closely with internal teams, PR and advertising agencies to make the evening a success.
