Engaging with local culture
Following the success of HP’s inaugural World Tour roadshow in 2014, IVORY were invited to deliver a further standalone event in Saudi Arabia. World Tour aims to showcase HP innovation, enhance perceptions of HP as a technology and business partner and generate demand for HP products and services.
Local suppliers had delivered a similar event the previous year, but HP wanted this year’s event to forge stronger relationships by encouraging better networking between sponsors, partners and delegates.
IVORY began by working to make sure the Saudi World Tour event was aligned with cultural norms across staff dress, catering and event schedule. We then evolved the previous year’s design, reshaping the space to improve people flow and enhance potential for networking.
The event ultimately engaged 1,900 attendees across an executive dinner, plenary session, exhibition area, interactive demos and breakout sessions. Our intelligent re-design and careful planning ensured World Tour Saudi Arabia succeeded in engaging locals and creating new business relationships for HP in the region.
