The Imperial War Museum
An immersive video showcase
IVORY were asked by the Imperial War Museum in London to create digital signage that would engage visitors and set the scene for their visit.
We combined contemporary and archive footage of the museum’s exhibits with animated graphic elements. These elements were edited together into a series of fifteen-second videos that showcased the collections in a dynamic, thematically rich way.
We then constructed two installations to display this content; one made up of eight synchronised HD screens, the other five. Both installations were programmable to display dynamic, changing content – creating a striking visual presence at the front of the museum.
